WHICH DISEASES WILL BE PREVENTED BY VACCINATION?

A) FOR DOGS:


Three kinds of vaccines are given


1) Combined vaccines (11 in 1)

2) Anti-rabies

3) Kennel Cough Vaccine



1) COMBINED VACCINE (11 IN 1)

The combined vaccine protects against the following diseases


- CANINE DISTEMPER

- INFECTIOUS CANINE HEPATITIS (ADENOVIRUS)

- CANINE AND ZOONOTIC LEPTOSPIROSIS

2) ANTI RABIES VACCINE

The vaccine contains inactivated rabies virus antigen and protects against rabies.

3) KENNEL COUGH VACCINE

This vaccine protects against kennel cough disease in dogs, caused by the bacterium Bordetella bronchiseptica. Kennel cough is characterized by respiratory signs such as difficulty in breathing and cough.

B) FOR CATS:


Two kinds of vaccines are mandatory for cats:


1) Triple in one/Tricat

2) Anti-rabies


1) TRIPLE IN ONE/TRICAT


This vaccine protects against three diseases in cats:


- Cat flu caused by Feline Rhinotracheitis virus

2) ANTI-RABIES

As mentioned above, this vaccine protects against rabies.
